We're seeking a highly driven, dynamic, motivated Coordinator to join our dynamic team Ridgefield, NJ.

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of filling machines, line quality and utilization/rotation of line team in accordance with company specifications. Ensure work area is free of debris, spilled product, and prompt reporting of unsafe condition to management, which may jeopardize safety or product quality. Responsibilities:

• Monitor shift activities; provide direct instruction to Line Leaders and production personnel.
• Train, supervise, and monitor the performance of line leaders
• Evaluate manpower levels, focusing on machine capacities with maximum efficiency of employee strengths
• Follow the daily production schedule and communicate with management as needed.
• Responsible for production related communication and coordination between affected departments
• Generate and process all pertinent reports (i.e. Production records, investigations, etc.)
• Responsible for safety and security of the production area
• Complete line audits
• Assist with line setups. Coordinate getting components and bulk from WH for Mechanical setup to take place
• Administer and communicate corporate policy and procedures to employees and agencies.
• Write injury investigation as necessary
• Post labor hours and production units into AS400 at shift end.
• Serve as backup to the Production Supervisor
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned

Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of computers and programs contained with Microsoft Office, AS 400 experience preferred
• Experience with cGMP procedures and knowledge of safety, OSHA regulations
• Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculation
• Able to participate in a team-oriented environment, willingness to assist and train others
• Demonstrate safe behavior and support department/plant Safety goals in a continuous improvement process
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends before and after schedule as needed
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED

Work with industrial manufacturing equipment on production line

Ability to utilize a computer, telephone, fax and copy machine as well as other general office equipment
