SCHEDULE: Full-time

Schedule: Varies based upon business need; 8 hour shift between 7am CST -6pm CST , One late night per week until 8pm CST , One Saturday per month; Must be able to work CST

As a  Collections Specialist , you will perform collection follow up on delinquent accounts for medical facilities in a high volume, inbound andoutbound, call center environment. You will utilize excellent communication andcustomer service skills to resolve patient accounts. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE?

You will refer calls/accounts to appropriate partiesbased on customer inquiries. 

You will identify problem accounts and escalate asappropriate. 

You will update the patient account record to identifyactions taken on the account. 

You will work with patients and guarantors to secure paymenton outstanding account balances. 

You will maintain minimum production and qualitystandards. 

You will achieve passing quality review scores per unitrequirements. 

You will produce acceptable unit collection volumes. 

You will work within company attendance guidelines. 

You will provide excellent customer service. 

You will practice and adhere to the Parallon “Codeof Conduct" philosophy and “Mission and Values Statement". 

You will attend Privacy and Security Training as required bythe HIPAA Awareness Program and comply with all guidelines, policies andprocedures to assure sensitive or confidential information is protected inaccordance with the HIPAA rules and regulations.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred

Minimumone year related experience preferred, preferably in healthcare
