Responsibilities

  • Monitor and Apply Berry Safety Standards to Maintain a Safe Work Environment

  • Document new / altered equipment safety checks or other change control documentation, as required.

  • Responds to alarms and takes corrective action.

  • Provide oversight for all automation systems working with production and maintenance

  • Monitor, track, and analyze production efficiencies of Post Molding Equipment.

  • Continually improve the quality of the Equipment / Facilities at superior quality levels.

  • Evaluate Equipment / Processes for continuous improvement.

  • Assist is IQ/OQ/PQ for post molding equipment

  • Complete MOC process on changes to post molding equipment

  • Complete on time each month Automation PM's.

  • Communicate to Leadership of Repeat Failures and Provide a Plan to Resolve

  • Work with manufacturing teams as requested.

  • Conduct accident investigations and follow up with corrective actions.

  • Perform all activities safely, including the use of LOTO as required by company policy.

  • Uphold Safety Absolutes

  • Working Overtime as needed per project / production demand

  • Other Duties Assigned

  • Qualifications

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office, 360, JDE, Coast

  • Must have 2-6 years’ experience in PLC, Motion Controls, and Vision Inspection Control Platforms

  • Strong working knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems

  • Strong Ability for Reasoning, Analytical, and Problem Solving Skills

  • Effective and Concise Communication Skills

  • Motivated, Self-Starter, and Ability to work Independently / Team

  • Experience w/ Kuka, Fanuc, or Yaskawa Robotics: is a Plus

  • High school or equivalent required. Vocational preferred

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
