Your Role:

As an Electrical Engineer in the Semiconductors Capital Investment Project Execution Team, you will provide technical discipline expertise in electrical engineering on a variety of asset builds and infrastructure modifications ranging in scope from specialty chemical production equipment installation to Greenfield building construction.

Responsibilities include: 

Participate in all project-relevant design reviews, design hazard reviews, operating plant hazard reviews Support commissioning/startup activities including pre-startup safety reviews and closure of punch list items Generate or review externally generated deliverables such as electrical load lists, high and low voltage single line diagrams, protection and control schematics, DC power schedules / diagrams, panel schedules, low voltage system protection design, short circuit fault level calculations, arc flash studies and labels, lighting, electrical design drawing packages, etc Provide expert level electrical engineering support Work within a matrix environment and communicate with remote team members, project managers, and customers Drive consistency in evaluation and implementation of best engineering practices, lessons learned, and continuous improvement There may be up to 10% travel

Relocation will be offered with this role in accordance with company policy. 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications

BS degree in electrical engineering or related 5+ years relevant experience Experience in design of industrial electrical power systems Knowledge and application of switchgear, motor control centers, transformers, and motors used in industrial power systems as well as the ability to prepare and interpret specifications related to such equipment Knowledge and experience in performing detailed power system engineering studies and process instrumentation & controls

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in Engineering (MS or PhD) NEMA and IEC design experience PLC, DCS and electronic circuits experience Proven ability to translate technical requirements from asset and product development plans into tactical concepts and designs Professional experience with manufacturing processes, as well as knowledge of materials of construction for electronics specialty chemicals production Experience in industrial process plant construction and construction safety practices, chemical piping and equipment installation practices
