Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
The Occ Health RN is responsible for the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment, identifying and determining the priority of patients needs, and evaluating the process and outcome of patient care in the office setting. The Occ Health RN provides and directs patient teaching activities and coordinates the care provided by health team members.

Essential Job Functions
*Administers vaccines ( Hepatitis, MMR, Flu, Varavax, TST)
*Performs Urine Drug Screen and Blood and Salvia Alcohol Testing
*Conducts Spirometry and Breath Alcohol Testing
*Performs Blood Draws for LaboratoryTesting
*Performs Vital signs (Blood Pressure, Pulse, respiration)
*Enters into data into the TPA data base and employee health data base, to include work related injuries, vaccines, titers, flu shots, screening and other employee data.
*Prepares and implements policy and procedures and does annual review
*Maintains the OSHA log, Sharps injury log, Blood born Pathogen log in compliance with federal standards.

Licensing/Certification
Current RN License in the state in which they are working or covered by compact or RN applicant (required)
BLS Basic Life Support (required)
Occupational Health Nurse Certification (preferred)

Education
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required)

Work Experience
3 years of experience in acute care of adults (required)
1 year of occupational health experience (preferred)
