Job Description Seeking an energetic manufacturing engineer to support the area of aftermarket and capital manufacturing and help ensure the safe, expeditious, efficient and cost-effective achievement of production goals and objectives. It is expected that all process improvements, proposed upgrades and cost reduction projects will be coordinated with the EHS manager and Lean Leader. Relocation assistance is available for this position.Identify and coordinate manufacturing process improvements.Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and propose upgrades as necessary.Prepare capital equipment expenditure requests and assist with the development of equipment specifications.Provide manufacturing engineering support to production.Coordinate manufacturing engineering cost reduction projects.Develop interdepartmental working groups and coordinate their process improvement activities.Hands-on machine building and upgrades.Manufacturing Engineering degree; 5 years heavy manufacturing related experience preferredProficient with welding, fabrication, machining and assembly manufacturing processesCAD skills, programming and automated controls (PLC) skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to thrive in a team environmentAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Thank you for your interest in Parker Hannifin!
