To maintain in an orderly fashion the Tool Crib operating supplies, tools, and machine spare parts and the issuance of each.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Must be capable to analyze the total MRO procurement system to determine problems relating with orders and paperwork tracking and make recommendations for corrections.
Will be required to coordinate with MRO stocking vendors monitoring parts usage, requirements and make recommendations to management. This could include release of blanket orders within management control parameters.
Prepares purchase documentation for MRO parts and supplies and forwards to Buyer for purchasing.
Tracking systems and components sent outside for repair.
MRO parts, supplies, tools, machine parts, and the issuance of these.
Responsible to maintain applicable paperwork and forms pertinent to the Tool Crib operations.
Facilitates, coordinates, and communicates with supervision and peers to pro actively conduct daily business in a customer oriented manner with customer first sense of urgency.
Required to perform cycle counts and identify problems to root cause and implement the solution.
Required to train or instruct others in the Tool Crib Attendant classification procedures and operations as requested.
Must have MRO experience in a crib environment utilizing locating systems, both visual and computer.
Required to perform review analysis of obsolete inventory and make recommendations.
Required to be computer literate with ability to utilize various operations software programs.
Must have technical component knowledge skills, i.e. voltage, pressure, size, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic.
Should have production process knowledge to facilitate understanding of component and crib requirements.
Individual should be self disciplined with attention to detail.
Responsible for cleanliness and good house keeping of the crib area.
Required to utilize office equipment such as personal computers, printers, fax machine, CM software, and other equipment such as two-wheel dollies and pallet trucks.
Required to observe all plant safety rules and regulations.
Overtime is required to meet production demands and can include Saturdays and Sundays when necessary.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to create and write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in an on-on-one and small group situation to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate*** ratio and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
