Responsible for selling products and/or services within an assigned geographic area, or list of customer accounts to achieve sales target. Pursues sales leads, visits existing and new customers, assesses customer needs and suggests appropriate products and services, negotiates price and delivery times within limits of authority and concludes sales orders and transactions to meet revenue target. Duties involve direct one-to-one communication with customers/clients. May generate and develop new channel partners. Responsible for maintaining effective agreements. Spends majority of the time at customer sites. 

Minimum Requirements
2+ years sales experience

Critical Skills

  • Demonstrated cold calling and prospecting skills

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain existing customer base

  • Demonstrated experience consistently hitting and or over achieving sales objectives.

  • Healthcare Sales experience including selling into any of the following Home Infusion, Home Medical Equipment, Pharmacy Clearly communicates and focused on highest priority goals and objectives. Sets clear and challenging goals for self ; holds self and others accountable for delivering on expectations; acts with a sense of urgency. Anticipates challenges; establishes contingency plans to address issues before they impact performance

  • Role models positivity and resilience throughout the change journey; maintains awareness of others to continually move forward

  • Cultivate enterprise relationships that drive best practice sharing and resource optimization. Proactively shares information, best practices, networks, and resources across the enterprise.

  • Adopts an owner’s mentality, treats the company’s assets as if their own and orients resources to solving customer problems

  • Holds self-accountable for building a high-performance; demonstrates discipline and data-based decision making

  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

  • Proficiency with Microsoft: Word, Excel, SalesForce.com, PowerPoint

  • Additional Knowledge & Skills
    Healthcare Distribution experience.

    Education
    4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
