Shop Technicians support our field teams and our customers through cylinder preparation and refrigerant gas consolidation.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.
Receive cylinders at the shops, check-in cylinders, and fill out accurate reports.
Prepare and properly label cylinders for shipment.
Operate pallet jack & lift gate to load and unload shipments.
Safely consolidate refrigerant into available cylinders.
Prep, paint, and repair cylinders as needed.
Handle various types of other technical duties relating to the work-flow process of refrigerants
Keep a clean and organized workspace.
Work Safely by following our "Spot On" safety program.
Ability to operate assigned equipment safely.
Follow all EPA regulations.
And any other duties that may become necessary from time to time.
Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be able to lift at least 75# +
Knowledge of the HVAC Industry preferred
Experience handling Refrigerant/Recovery of HVAC gases preferred.
EPA 608 License Preferred and/or ability to obtain required
Hazmat Certification preferred and/or ability to obtain required
Exceptional communications skills
Excellent reading, writing, and math skills.
Demonstrate resiliency and persistence
Ability to conduct daily duties in a courteous and professional manner
