Responsibilities: Shares responsibilities for providing direct library service to people of all ages, especially adults. Answers library user's reference and reader's advisory questions, in person and on the telephone, using a variety of formats. Maintains a working knowledge of the Library's collections, eMaterials, services available, and trends in library services for people of all ages, particularly adults. Develops, plans and conducts a variety of innovative programs for adult and intergenerational audiences both in the library and as outreach to the community. Assists library users at the circulation desk. Shelves materials.
Requirements: Broad range of knowledge of a wide variety of subjects usually acquired through a four-year college program or associate degree and appropriate library experience. Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends. Required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Salary: $14.56 per hour
