As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will work closely with the program management and product development teams to ensure strategic quality goals are focused on supporting this fast-growing business. The position is key to building strong internal and external relationships that support current and future growth within the Antenna Systems business in Duluth, GA.

The qualified candidate should have the ability to:

  • Support the Antenna Systems program, product development, contracts and engineering groups for upcoming bids and proposals covering key QA requirements
  • Primary POC for internal phase review meetings, Project Management Reviews and liaison with wider QA team supporting current and future contracts
  • Represent QA team with customers regarding QA requirements and outputs
  • Team with supply chain to drive strategic goals that support business area needs
  • Present key outputs to senior leadership as needed covering QA goals and metrics
  • Ensure Advanced Product Quality Planning is deployed across the New Product Development Life Cycle with quality built into the design
  • Requirements

  • 10+ years as a Quality Engineer with experience in a space, aerospace and/or defense environment including design
  • Working knowledge of GD & T
  • Experience working in an AS9100 / ISO 9001 environment
  • Hands on experience working in a multi-functional team covering, supplier quality, product quality assurance across a wide range of products
  • Strong analytical, communication and interaction skills
  • Successfully worked with suppliers and/or subcontractors implementing corrective actions and improvements
  • Ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • US citizenship required
  • Up to 10% travel domestic and international
  • Preferences

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field
  • Understanding of IPC 610 & 620 requirements
  • Lead Auditor trained.
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma Certification.
  • ASQ CQE certification.
  • Worked within an organization that uses a phased review process for program management.
  • Working knowledge of PLM Tool (such as Agile) as well as ERP system (such as Oracle).
