Oversees the day to day operations of both clinical and non-clinical staff in an assigned clinic. Responsible for the development and implementation of department policies and procedures, continuous education of staff on policy and procedure, health, safety and regulatory compliance topics. Accountable for planning and developing service area, improving the quality of services, effective communication, staff development, budget support, fiscal control, interdepartmental relations and personnel management.
Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing or successful completion of sufficient units in nursing to qualify for state licensure. Demonstrated expertise in the clinical area and leadership ability. Two years of relevant Nursing experience in the Ambulatory setting. PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Health Administration. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS MINIMUM REQUIRED: Current California Registered Nurse License. Current BLS certification.
