SUMMARYFOR MERCHANDISE PROCESSORS:
The Merchandise Processor in the Pick Department is an entry-level position that is responsible for the manual support of handling merchandise through the picking process.
MERCHANDISE PROCESSORS PICK PAY JOB DUTIES:
•Responsible for identifying the correct merchandise located on shelves and placing in cart
•Able to comprehend, in English, number and/or letter sequences
•Able to pay attention to detail
•Able to remain flexible to change and willing to move around to other areas within Distribution Center
•Must be detail oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy
•Must be able to achieve at least 75% of productivity goal
•Responsible for tracking individual production
•Able to work independently or as part of a team
•Operate with the highest level of conduct, integrity, and confidentiality; setting the example for leaders and associates.
•Develop and nurture strong cross functional partnerships; driving business results and inspiring a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
•Serve as an Eddie Bauer advocate in the industry and marketplace.
MERCHANIDISE PROCESSORS PICK/PACK:
•High School Diploma or Equivalent
•Some distribution experience preferred
The physical demands described here are representative of those that are required by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
•Able to stand and walk for 8-10 hours continuously on concrete floors
•While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to climb, bend, stretch, talk, hear, push/pull, squat, twist, turn, stoop and use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms to reach above shoulder/head level and/or overhead
•Able to lift over 35 lbs on a continual basis and display safe working behaviors
•Able to read, in some cases small print, numbers and letters and identify colors
•Able to communicate with co-workers and supervisory staff
This is a full-time position requiring regular attendance and punctuality which includes a work week consisting of 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. As a Merchandise Processor, weekend work is required as well as mandatory over time during periods of high volume. This role operates in a warehouse environment subject to inside environmental conditions with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes and subject to loud noise due to conveyor systems and material handling equipment and routinely uses standard personal protective equipment

SCHEDULE & PAY RATE:
Receiving – hours will be 3:15pm-11:45pm Mon-Fri
$13.00 with 1.00 shift differential for 2nd + 1.00 peak pay
