Search Solution Group is seeking a Manager of Disbursements for our client who is in the Financial Services industry.


The Manager, Disbursements will be responsible for a team of accounts payable specialists who ensure invoice entry, coding, posting and payments are accurate and timely. Ensure that the Disbursements team follows all Company policies and procedures surrounding the disbursement process. Support the operations group by accurately recording payables and disbursing funds on a timely basis. Build and maintain a scalable disbursement function.

Responsibilities can include:

  • Establish and integrate dealer payment distributions into the Workday ERP system
  • Incorporate the master file maintenance of dealer payments into the accounting function
  • Establish procedures and segregation of responsibilities around vendor maintenance
  • Maintain compliance with 1099 reporting requirements
  • Where appropriate, work with vendors and ACA employees to incorporate consolidated bill processing
  • Work with internal audit to develop, monitor, and implement a disbursement approval matrix
  • Initiate an imaging workflow and file retention process for disbursement routing and records
  • Integrate wire, EFT, and ACH disbursements made through Treasury into Workday ERP system
  • Evaluate and improve disbursement function efficiency through the use of technology or improved workflow


  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in Accounts Payable or Procurement
  • Experience:

  • 2+ years Workday ERP system experience
  • 10+ years relevant experience
  • Supervisory / management experience in high volume accounts payable environment
  • Software – proficiency with Microsoft office (especially Excel), databases and communication with programmers, accounting software, reporting systems, imaging systems.
