JOB SUMMARY This position is under the supervision of Entertainment/Audio Visual management and supports the day-to-day Catering/Convention operations as well as nightlife and live entertainment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Set-up, operation and maintenance of all in-house audio equipment and systems including BGM, lounges, restaurants, displays and satellite MATV system.
Set-up and mix all productions promoted by the company.
Production of in-house themed, promotional and special event video.
Troubleshoot and minor repair of A/V equipment.
Assist with Concerts/Production crew in setting up scheduled concerts, pyrotechnic shows and interdepartmental special events in regards to equipment load in, curtain hang, chair risers, stage set-up, lighting and sound set-up, tear down and load out.
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Must be able to drive a scissor lift and forklift training and certification will be provided.
4+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have specific Sound Engineer experience and/or Lighting experience.
Must be able to pass and attain required OSHA certifications as well as fall protection.
Must be able to perform advanced troubleshooting of all equipment the department services and assist and train tier 1 technicians in their daily routines.
Must be available for varied shifts, holidays and weekends and overtime.
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENTS
Frequent lifting, standing, walking, reaching, bending, twisting and climbing.
Work may be located both indoors and outdoors.
Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting and noise levels.
