This position within the Technology Enables Services (TES) Physician Enterprise Finance group is responsible for supporting financial forecasting, CAPEX projects, monthly reporting, and pricing.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Financial Analysis - This position is expected to provide timely, relevant, and accurate analysis of the results of Physician Enterprise functions against historical, budgeted, forecasted, and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan

  • Planning & Forecasting - This position is expected to support the financial planning activities of Physician Enterprise functions in a manner that yields challenging, but achievable, strategic plans, budgets and forecasts and provides clear understanding of results

  • Modeling - Maintain and develop various financial models used during the planning processes and to support decision making by executive leadership, ensuring quality, accuracy, and focused analytic review

  • Special Projects - This position is expected to possess the skills and initiative to carry out special financial planning and/or analysis of projects of varying nature and complexity with limited supervision by clarifying objectives and assumptions or making appropriate judgments where necessary. This may include analysis of financial metrics, process improvement initiatives, etc.

  • What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related area

  • Modeling - Ability to create financial models for ad-hoc reporting and working with large volumes of data

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.

  • Be able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers and generate alternatives and drive positive change

  • Results-driven and accustomed to working with changing priorities, multiple initiatives/projects, and quick delivery in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong MS Excel skills

  • What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • 6 months of practical financial experience in a role with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to achieve results

  • MBA

  • Demonstrated experience using financial planning and analysis systems (e.g. TM1, SAP, Oracle or Workday)

  • Knowledge of financial practices and processes

  • Consulting and/or Healthcare billing industry experience a plus

  • Experience utilizing BI Tools such as Power BI, Tableau experience is preferred

  • Knowledge of SQL for reporting and Python coding experience highly desirable
