Harborview's Psychiatry ICU unit has an outstanding opportunity for a temporary/hourly, Variable Shift, HOSPITAL ASSISTANT/CNA position . The individual in this position will assist the medical and nursing staff by performing delegated tasks that involve direct patient care; transportation of patients, supplies and specimens; ordering and stocking of supplies; and maintenance/set up of special equipment. Additionally, the person in this role will participate in unit and selected departmental activities to promote effective problem solving and communication. This position provides opportunities to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.

Requirement:
High School graduation AND six months experience involving customer service in a health care setting OR six months experience involving direct patient care OR equivalent education/experience

Legal Requirement:
Must have a valid, active Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) with the State of Washington

Additional Requirement:
Valid AHA BLS/CPR Card
