Engineer Applications Engineer Project Engineer Our client, located in Southern NJ, is a rapidly growing company that focuses on the development of advanced processes to clean odorous air streams from industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment plants. Responsibilities: *Review Construction Industry Specifications for projects to be bid. oDevelop all required documents, lists of recommendations/risks, scope-of-supply lists, equipment designs, price sheets, and other required information. oDetermine adjustments required to company's standard equipment to assure specification compliance. *Create and organize sales-related documents such as proposals/bid packages, prequalification packages, scopes of supply, reference lists, performance data, company information and capabilities, brochures, product specs, etc *Interact with customers and internal sales managers to receive inquiries, provide technical information, follow-up on projects, etc. *Develop SolidWorks Sales Drawings (general arrangement, Bill of Materials, design details, P&IDs, etc). Develop or delegate preparation of other drawings such as P&ID, electrical, etc. *Review marketing sales engine websites and services on a daily basis to identify potential sales leads and communicate to RSM and Proposals Manager. *Delegate the preparation of General Arrangement and P&ID Drawings to Drafting Team and review for accuracy. *Maintain and organize list of vendor pricing (with Purchasing Department). *Work with team to keep proposals on schedule and meet critical deadlines. *Develop request for quotation (RFQ) for vendors and review all quotes for accuracy and specification compliance. *Assist in developing and maintaining Proposal Department"s tools, design/pricing standards, and references. *Occasional travel to job sites in North America and International locations for training or pre-award meetings. oWith the impact of COVID, video conference calls in lieu of travel are more frequent and may require a flexible schedule for International customers. Qualifications: *Bachelors (or equivalent) degree in Engineering from an accredited college/university plus a minimum of one year of experience in a design engineering role. Municipal sales/bid experience is a plus. *Experience using SolidWorks to create general arrangement and detailed design drawings and plans is a plus, but not required. *Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to project sites, trade shows and other business opportunity needs. However, travel will be typically not be required or will be less *Proficiency with computers and MS Office software. *Strong organizational, documentation, and writing skills. *Professional aptitude and a positive 'can do' attitude. *Have good command of the English language
